Gov. Rod Blagojevich :immigrants aren't criminals, they're workers

NBC5--

Rep. Luis Gutierrez told the crowd [of nearly 100,000 demonstrators] that immigrants are here to stay. And the Illinois Democrat pledged to work to block a controversial bill that would drastically strengthen immigration laws. [Referring to HR 4437]

"Shut the Senate down until you get the voice of immigrants who work so hard," said Rep. Luis Gutierrez.

Hat Tip to Daniel for bringing this to our attention.

As a rule, I don't normally repeat blog entries, however, when I saw this one, it made me furious.

When a representatives start promoting illegal aliens, it really says that we have a larger problem than we realize. People in high places that are aiding and abetting illegals should be removed from office because it is obvious where their loyalties are.

Provisions of HR 4437 unlawful presence in the US would be considered a felony, with undocumented immigrants facing potential jail time.

if you think this is a larger problem than we realize, think what's going to happen when all these illegals are given the vote legally. Expect even more pandering.
To see an even worse example of Rep.Gutierrez's character check out a post about his almost physical attack of Tom Tancrado:

Thank you Bob, good article

I predict that if things keep going the way the they are going, but we're going to see a Civil War, are the very least, the return of internment camps.

We are being invaded. No if ands or buts, it is a fact, we are being invaded. It is also a fact that we have traitors in power that support the invasion.

I've asked the question many times, why do we keep kissing Mexico's butt? Why are so many agencies blatantly ignoring the law and supporting illegal immigration over its own citizens?

Money and control and that is why HR 4437 is causing quite a scare. It is because it punishes those who encourage illegal immigration and takes the profit out of it

Freedom Folks? Band that sings nationalist songs, scapgoats immigrants with a bald headed (by choice)woman singer. Smells like national socialists are lurking.

Anyways, kudos to Gutierrez for his remarks. We definately need more like him and less "Freedom Folks" in this world.

Hey, you're famous, Robin! Ol' "Roger-Dodger" (isn't that a GREAT moniker?) has dropped by to diss you.

I've noticed that he has two words in his vocabulary: "scapegoats" and "nativists". I don't think he knows the meaning of either, but he seems to throw them around a lot.

It appears that he has a scanner, so he can just push a button and words magically appear onscreen.

I wonder if he really thinks they'll shut the Senate down? I see a yellow brick road and some ruby slippers. In other words - maybe he should go to Kansas. They don't have evolution there so they could probably use a forward thinking guy like Guiterrez.Joking, of course, but you get the point. This ordeal is bordering on the ignorant. I've said it before and I'll say it again - this country needs a good revolution. It is the only way to change the corrupt government we are stuck with. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

This clown they laughingly call a governor sounds just like Cindy Sheehan referring to the terrorists as "freedom fighters". It is people like these, along with cerified nuts like Roger Dodger, that are doing more to run our country into the ground than anyone or anything else possibly could.

Hey, Roger! When did Barbra Streisand shave her head? I know she is a great spokesman for your twisted movement to destroy our country.

I think it is a slap in the face to all the people who worked so hard to be in this country legally. And once you make it OK for the illegals already here, more will come. I am upset that our Congress can't wrap their heads around the word ILLEGAL. It is not up to Congress to define words or change the meaning. LAW is part of LEGAL. And the law of this land says you must complete certain steps to be in this country legally. Otherwise it would be a free-for-all.
