it seems like almost every presidency, somebody somewhere is trying to impeach the president. Unfortunately, their efforts are futile.
Even if there was a drastic reason to impeach a president, the current system would take so long, especially in the 21st century global economy, the president could do a lot of damage in very little time.

So whenever I hear a group trying to impeach a president, all I can do is laugh. all you're doing is wasting time.

in fact... refresh my memory, has a president ever been impeached?

Thanks BobKatt, The United States Constitution states in Article II, Section 4: "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors."

if this was the case then I would think that NOT protecting our borders would be considered treason in itself.

Robin, There have been 2 presidents impeach, but neither were put out of office through the impeachment process. Andrew Johnson was impeached because he dared to oppose someone being elevated into his cabinet that he did not approve of. (I don't remember all the details at the moment.) He survived the senate vote to oust him by one vote. The second was Bill Clinton and he survived that impeachment by 10 votes, 50 to 50. Surely we all remember the details behind that one. Impeachment is like going to trial with the Senate doing jury duty. It votes to keep the impeached president or to toss him out on his butt.

As far as electoral fraud happening in Mexico - it does not happen any more than it happened 2 years ago in Washington State in the governor's election. And the sun comes up in the west each morning.

Bush is too busy trying to protect borders in other parts of the world. I would suggest creating an army of illegals and sending them to the middle east. If they want to be Americans, let them fight for it!
