Mick Jagger versus George Bush, George loses

Online Sun--

In a race for a luxury royal suite at a five-star imperial Hotel in Vienna Austria, coming in second was our own President Bush.

"Bush’s people seemed to be under the impression that they would just hand over the suites but there was no way Mick was going to do that.” "

White House officials wanted to reserve the suite that all the other rooms on the first floor, well, I guess life is just full of disappointments.

At least we know George is an equal opportunity snob. He doesn't just think he is above all of US, he thinks he is above everyone in the world. I'm glad Mick didn't bow down.

Whether one agrees with President Bush or not, it is a sad day when some aging has-been rock "star" takes precedence over the leader of the most powerful nation on the planet. But, the Austrians can do what they want in their own country. I only hope that whenever some high-ranking diplomat from Austria, maybe even their president, chancellor, whatever, come over here the hotelliers in our country show that person the same courtesy as President Bush got.
